Introduction to QuickBooks

Class 1: Look at QuickBooks features and menus, Navigation through the Program. Setting up preferences, Chart of accounts.

Class 2: Setting up your company, Starting balances, Forms, Lists, Making deposits, Invoicing.

Class 3: Cash or Accrual? Writing Checks, Staying on track, Reports.

 

Time is limited for the amount of material we have to cover, so plan on starting at 6:30. This syllabus is flexible and may vary depending on questions and interest. During class feel free to speak up and ask questions. You can also ask questions after class, email or call. We will try to use many real examples of how QuickBooks is used, problems and successes.

Remember to use QuickBooks between classes to get the most out of class. More material will be presented than can actually be practiced in class.
