About Us

In 1979, Mal Blodget started a company called Blodget Builders, a remodeling and contracting firm in Wolfeboro New Hampshire. After several years as a contractor, he came to appreciate that there are many facets to running a business. With little knowledge of business management, he sought to learn as much as he could. While experience was invaluable, some business skills need to be learned. Seeing other companies struggle, he realized that having the tools to make good business decisions is critical. His interest in business and accounting started from a desire to see what it could do for his own business. He found that many other businesses needed this help as well. Following this path, He eventually earned two masters degrees and became a CPA.

Mal teaches a course in Using QuickBooks for the Small Business. These business owners and managers are striving to make sense of accounting and how it can help them. While they gain greater control over their business they also become better managers. It is rewarding to see them become more interested and skilled in running their companies.
