Spring 2008 Course Information

This will be the 13th offering of the QuickBooks Made Easy class. This is a popular course and space is limited to 12 so sign-up early. You can use your own laptop if you wish. Questions are encouraged and many real-life examples are used. Even if you currently use QuickBooks, this class will greatly improve your skills.

This course is part of the Governor Wentworth Continuing Education program at Kingswood High School (and the Vocational Center). To sign-up call our office 569-8600 or the office of the Continuing Education program at 569-4361. Unless there is a change, the class will be held in VOC - 317 in the Vocational Center. The Vocational Center is the building to the left of the main High School. Go straight down the hall (past the dining room) and VOC - 317 will be on your left.

Introduction to QuickBooks:

Course description:
Learn basic and some advanced features of QuickBooks. Learn how to setup, enter information, generate reports, and use for management decisions.

Instructor: Mal Blodget, CPA

Dates and Time:
(3 classes, 1 class per week) Starting Tuesday, April 15th. Classes are to be held Tuesdays from 6:30 to 8:30 PM.

$80 per person.

Starting a Small Business in NH:

Course description:
Learn some basics of starting a small business in New Hampshire. Topics will include: choosing the type of tax entity, registering your business name, hiring subcontractors, hiring employees, NH filing requirements and making sure your business stays on track.

Instructor: Mal Blodget, CPA

(2 classes, 1 class per week) Starting Wednesday, April 16th. Classes are to be held on Wednesdays, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM.
